Out of the Bag...

So surprise surprise I wasn't able to keep the secret of the trip...I told Cisco a couple of weeks ago and since then we have been talking about it on and off. I told him that I was planning on taking him to London. I have wanted to go there for quite some time and I think that time is going to be approaching very fast now. I think that it will be next spring which leaves plenty of time for me to plan and for Cisco and I to finalize the decision on taking the kids.

I would love to take them. I think that it would be great to have a real "family" vacation. I am just hoping that it will be the four of us...that is what makes me look forward to it even more. When I have more details about things I will be sure to write about it. I'm not sure about how many people read this but if you have any suggestions on things to do while we are there I am more than happy to listen to them.

Who??? Cisco??? Where...

Yes, I'm wondering where my beau is...if anyone finds him please send him back care of Melissa....Thank you.

He has been working so much he comes home when I am asleep and leaves when I am asleep. Good thing that we have a stable relationship or it would be thought that he was up to no good.

I know that this job is "for the better" but I certainly hope that "we" see rewards soon...If I wanted to be a single mother with two kids I would have signed up for it on my own. I don't like eating dinner at the table alone ( without stimulating adult conversation so that I don't have to hear about who farted in class that day constantly ). Sure it's nice having alone time with the kids but it's hard to enjoy that time when I am needing to deligate tasks that need to get done....Storytime before bed, good luck! That turns into an argument because there is always the other one that wants to have their story read to them instead. It's tough I'll give it that much...I try to stay up and wait for him to come home from work, but it's nearly impossible since I am so exhausted after doing the mom thing all afternoon and night. It's not easy being a cook, personal driver to events, nanny, dishwasher, laundry maid and housekeeper all in one day...nearly everyday. I think that after all of this "training" that he is going through it should settle down a little bit...I hope. Well that's enough whining for now...I know that I will grow used to it, but for right now I'm not...I know when I am though it will seem like things had always been this way :)

He should have normal days off and then that will help a lot. So here is to looking toward the future...and still if you see my precious send him home...IMMEDIATELY!!!

Lonely...

I am feeling lonesome about 95% of the time now...sure I have the kids and things to do around the house. It just isn't the same though when he's at work and we are able to steal small moments when he isn't busy at work. I know that it is something that I will grow used to and adapt to, but I don't want to get used to that...it scares me. I enjoy the sound of all of us in the house. Talking about nothing too special, but just the fact that we are in the house together. I look forward to this Sunday because he will be home with all of us, eventhough I'm sure we will be going to church alone while he sleeps for a better part of the morning or afternoon. I can't stand this new schedule that he is on, but I must be thankful that we both have jobs and eachother. Also, I'm sure he doesn't like the schedule much either.

The Return from a Slight Paradise...

So Anthony, Olivia, my mom, Step-dad and myself took off to California last weekend. It was nice to get out of this desert for the weekend...I was wishing that I had taken my own car by the time we were half way there but it was still nice.

There is a client that we are building a home for that has a townhome in Marina Del Rey that is a stone throw away from the water. This home is just absolutely beautiful. I didn't know what to do with myself when I got there, well I did because it was about 11:00pm, so after taking a short tour of the four story home I was ready to find my bedroom and call it a night.

We went to Santa Monica on one of the days that we were there, for the most part the sun never came out to visit, so it was a hard decision to not go to the beach the whole time that we were there. It was too bad though because we took bathing suits and sand toys for the kids to play with. Anthony and Olivia went with my step-dad to the beach when my mom and I decided to go shopping so atleast they got to go for a little while. Quite honestly the trip was a total bore up until about Saturday only because my parents took us to California with only one plan...SeaWorld on Sunday. Other than that it was driving around with nowhere in particular in mind.

We did go to dinner at a very nice place on Friday night...that turned out to be a fun night. We took turns being very silly for most of the night after that...
my mom thought that there was something wrong with us but I think that the Champagne kicked in for me and the sugar rush from the sodas worked their magic on the kids...

We went for a late night stroll on the beach and Anthony and I decided to get wet...really wet Anthony had to remove his clothes before we went walking back to the house because he was so wet, that water wasn't very warm either. I was wishing I had another change of clothes when I was done because of how wet I was. I was a little scared that there was going to be something wrapping around my foot or ankle since I was waist deep in the ocean water. It was so beautiful that night though...there was no wind and you could see straight down the beach and even see the lights of the ferris wheel on the Santa Monica Pier. I loved it and was wishing that we were spending another night there because I would have loved to go to the ocean again at 9:00 in the evening. We took turns riding up and down in the elevator that is in the home that we stayed in and ate our desserts that we got from the Farmers Market near the La Brea Tar Pits.
We went to the Rose Gardens near USC and to the Natural History Museum also...

that was the neatest museum that I had been to, atleast the neatest kid friendly one!We left early in the morning to go to SeaWorld and that was a miserable day only because of the weather...cold and slightly rainy. It was ok later in the day because the sun would play peek a boo every once and a while, but we rode the two water rides that they have and then after that we had to buy whole new outfits because we were just soaked. The kids had to buy sandals because their shoes were just filled to the brim with water. SeaWorld was nice to go to, I wish I would have been able to see everything because I hadn't been there since I was five. We stayed the night in San Diego and then the next morning after breakfast it was back home we went. Just something to remind those with kids...don't leave them unsupervised with a camera in the back seat of the car...this is what happens...46 pictures of this!

When I get around to posting these to flicker I will share all of them with you...my friends...till then...

A Moment of Solitude...

Even in this busy day that I have going on...

All I can think of is the moment of solitude that I will have when I am walking along the beach in California this weekend...

Without kids by my side...

Without my love by my side but in my heart...

Wishing all the while that he was with me in that moment...

To watch the sunrise...

To watch the sunset...

Together in that beautiful moment...

I will be thinking of him...

And wishing he was with me...

Feelings of Love...

After a brief conversation with my hunny lastnight that scared the *@$! out of me I realized that it takes a great deal of love, care and devotion to that person to pester and bother when it comes to matters concerning your mate, in my case a flag that was raised in his eyes concerning my health. I found it quite nice to have someone be so genuinely concerned about me. Besides when I was pregnant with Anthony no one has really felt that way or was overly concerned about my health or general well being besides the usual, "So how ya feelin' today?" That is an answer that just needs to be given with "Ok, thanks" I don't think people actually expect you to answer this question.

I am glad for him being in my life and stickin' around through it all...good and bad.

I hope you know I love you babe...

Bored...

Bored...bored...bored.

That is how I am feeling today at work. I want to leave but as Cisco would say, "Stay and play on the computer atleast your getting paid for it." I know that is true but it's the last thing that I can think of when I am wanting to leave so badly. Olivia is here playing with the dog and watching cartoons. I just wish that I could be doing the same thing right about now.

It's cloudy, windy and chilly outside today and all I want to do is lay on the couch and take a nap. It will be nice to have next week fly by because I'm going on another mini vacation to Marina Del Rey and I think I will let ya'll know abou that little adventure later!

Love...

So I took Anthony on his belated birthday present...to go and see "Love" at the Mirage. It was a little late, but better late than never. I surprised him with it, he thought that we were going to dinner instead, but then I went to pick up my tickets and he was so happy. I was just as excited as he was I had been wanting to go and see this show ever since I had heard that it was going to be coming here.

I was hoping that we would be going for my birthday, no such luck. During that time the show was dark so we missed out on that little adventure. I think I could go and see that show about a hundred times.

Now in my ever so humble opinion I have decided that this show has been the best one that I have seen on the Strip so far. The only one that I haven't really seen yet has been "O", but now that I have seen "Love" and I have a deep sense of "Love" for this show it's gonna be a hard show to beat. I think that the love that I have for the Beatles music certainly helps with me liking this show as much as I did. It was very hard for me to hold back tears when the show started as well as with certain parts of the show.

I think liking the Beatles started when I was little by listening to their music with my dad. Then it just intensified when I started seeing Cisco, but when I took my History of the Beatles class at CCSN that is when the love with the Beatles began. Being able to learn all about the history of their band and all of their personalities and being able to connect in that way deepened my feelings for this foursome.

I received the "Love" soundtrack for Christmas and I think I nearly burned a hole into it I have listened to it so much, but it was funny because I was able to sing along the whole time during the show, knowing every pause and riff. It was fun.

I do have to say we sat in the balcony and personally I think that was the best place because you could see everything. The theater is fairly small and very intimate so anywhere you sit is good, but I think up on the second level is better.

I hope everyone has a chance sometime to see this show, especially if you enjoy the Beatles music, and Cirque Du Soleil.

Godzilla...

So Anthony went to California with one of his grandmothers two weekends ago. Upon his return he brought home an iguana...which was named Godzilla. The first name was King Godzilla, probably to pay tribute to one of his favorite movies...King Kong and the other just because it's a lizard I suppose. This thing is straight from the depths of hell and I am hoping that it dies of natural causes. I was planning on not feeding it until it stopped trying to attack me with the super swoosh of his tail, but good luck. I thought it would be mean to starve some animal.

I told Anthony that if he doesn't become nicer then I am going to rid the house of this unpleasant member of the family. It doesn't help that he is a bit stupid too. I give him yummy food all of the time and he just dumps it around his cage and spills his water like an idiot. I am trying as hard as I can to give this animal a good home, but he just doesn't want it. I guess I wouldn't either if I was stuck in a cage and fed, if he was nicer I would take him out and walk him on a little leash but he's just so mean he makes it impossible.

Oh, well...I guess I should have said yes to the mouse instead....

A Somewhat Personal Journey...

This morning I woke up and decided that it would be nice to go for a bike ride. The destination was my mothers house. Those of you who read this and live in Las Vegas can appreciate the distance to my mothers home. We live up around the Summerlin Area and my mother lives around the Charleston Heights area (Jones and Charleston).

I didn't think much of the ride to their house. It would be easy, all down hill. When I was taking my bike out of the garage and getting ready to leave Cisco tried to talk me into having my Step-dad drive me back because it was going to be long and hard getting back to our house. I was determined to come back on my own and told him that I could do it and I didn't need any one's help on returning. We kissed each other goodbye and he told me to be careful.

Getting to Charleston and Hualipai didn't seem too hard. I took back the movies that we rented last night and then went from there. I had decided that I was going to ride in the street because the sidewalks in the Summerlin area wind every which way and it would be easy to fall off since I was going down hill and traveling at a pretty constant speed the whole time. It was a nice crisp morning here in the Valley for a March and I was sure that I should have worn a heavier jacket or even a long sleeve shirt under the jacket. The sprinklers from the small patches of grass were on and would spray me with a light mist as I biked down the road. I didn't notice the risk that I had put myself into until I was halfway to my mothers house. I didn't have a helmet on. I felt quite ashamed of this especially since I preach at my kids all of the time that they need to wear a helmet so that they are safe. But, now I have put my own safety at risk because I didn't take my time upon leaving the house. I could have easily thrown on Cisco's helmet but didn't think of it at the time. So a slight panic rose in my chest as I was riding and the thoughts of what I might be able to utter out to the paramedics if they were called out to get me, due to a car not looking and hitting me, all I could think of is, "Son, Daughter" and my step-dad's phone number. I stopped thinking those thoughts quite quickly thought because I didn't want it to actually happen.

You would think that people have never seen someone riding their bike before or maybe it was the change in the neighborhood. It is scary to see how quickly it changes just street by street. The further East that you go down Charleston the more it changes. I think that the people in Summerlin thrive off of the nicely manicured patches of grass that wind through the sidewalks. The trees that provide shade for a nice morning walk or bike ride on any day of the week. The thought that it is safe to do all of these things without worrying. No one honks their horn at you when you are taking a walk on the sidewalk in the middle of the day. Jogging or Running to get that rush of adrenaline and the feeling of accomplishment. The minute you step one foot past Durango and Charleston that all changes. I'm not saying this to talk bad about anyone or to point fingers at any one person. I think that it may just be the nature of the beast in this town. Maybe it's not even this town. I was glad to have my iPod on to eliminate that kind of noise, because it would have been more distracting to me at that present moment in time.

I had finally reached my mothers house and clocked myself taking 45 minutes to do it, thanks to the steady down hill motion that I was undertaking. I sat down, let the puppy in and decided to make myself a sandwich since I hadn't eaten breakfast and was starving. I have been on the South Beach diet for about three weeks now and have lost about 11 pounds which I am quite proud of. So, anyone that knows something about this diet also knows that carbs of any kind are strictly limited if not prohibited depending on what phase you are in. I have currently graduated to phase two but still stay away from sugars and carbs as best I can. But since I knew I was going to be riding back home I would make myself this sandwich that contained bread. Which I would be thankful for later.

I sat down ate my sandwich and watched a Biography on Ron Howard. My step-dad came home and we talked for a little while and then when I decided that I had procrastinated enough I decided that I would get on my bike and head home. The thought of him driving me home gnawed at me for a little while and I decided that I didn't have it too hard getting there the real challenge would be getting home...all the way home, alone.

So I started on my long journey home. I thought at the most it should take me about 2 hours if not 2 1/2 hours to get home. I would be going up hill the whole time so I knew that it would be a long and hot ride since I would be in the sun the whole time. By the time I hit Rainbow I was about to throw in the towel. I looked up at how far I had to go and nearly caved in on myself, like I have so many times before and claim defeat. I wasn't interested in pushing myself to see if I could actually make it, just interested in finding the nearest pay phone so that I could call for a ride. I decided that I would make and deal with myself instead. I would ride stop light to stop light and rest a small time before I would start up again. That is how I rode...stop light to stop light and I would get off my bike and stand there for a little while and then get back on when I had the green light and keep pushing on.

Listening to the Beatles and Gwen I pushed on. I stopped every once and a while when I just couldn't bear it any longer. The horns stopped beeping and the guys stopped making hand motions the closer to home I came. Before I knew it I was at Durango and Charleston. If I had a chain for my bike I probably would have stopped at Target to buy more water since I had ran out at Cimmeron, but I didn't so I kept going. I became so delighted when the ground was even and flat and became elated when I would have small bits of hill to go down, even if it was just off of the sidewalk to cross the street or an opening to a parking lot.

When I finally hit Rampart and Charleston I was so happy with myself. Riding near the Boca Park area was hard. Smelling the food that was cooking at the Claim Jumper or the hamburgers being fried over at the Wendy's drove my stomach and my mind crazy. I had to get out of there before I drove myself out of my mind. But crossing the street proved no more a great feat because P.F. Changs was waiting.

As I rode past all of the delightful smells I found myself winding though the manicured lawns along the sidewalks, going under the hundreds of pine trees that line the streets and going under the cherry trees who's blossoms have started to bloom and with the wind kissing at the branches the blossoms would fly off and drift upon my head and their smell would fill my lungs and I began to feel so thankful that I was able to do such a thing on a beautiful day. The ability that so many of us takes for granted everyday. Walking, breathing, smelling, touching, everything that you take for granted until it is taken away. I was not going to let this moment pass me by. I said thank you for all that I was given even if my legs were burning from continuously going uphill for several miles and the slight sunburn that I could feel on my head. I said thank you for being able to realize what I had also...some of us go through life and just barely live our lives. Just barely have a relationship with someone because the thought of trying harder or even trying is too much to bear. I then realize that I am lucky to have these thoughts going through my head while I'm doing something so simple as riding my bike home.

While I look at the beams of sunlight dancing with the trees and then casting their shadow upon the sidewalk I become aware that I have approached the entrance to Queensridge and I am nearly home. While I am waiting for the light to turn green I see all of the "privileged" driving their Bentley's and BMW's into the entry way. I wonder at these people that are looking at me and wondering what they are thinking. Some look at me and then talk to one another. Some just stare until the light turns green for them and then there are the ones that I like that pay no mind to you at all and keep their eyes on whatever they are thinking about in their own little personal space.

I arrive at Hualipai and I am becoming more over joyed at the fact that the thoughts of taking the bus or calling for my ride were not followed through with. It was going to be better to say "I did it all by myself".

When I started traveling on Hualipai I was so happy that it was all going to be down hill from here, especially since I had worked so hard to get to where I was at. I was finally at the Homestretch...literally, the street I passed near a high school is called Homestretch and it fit just perfectly with the thoughts that were traveling though my mind at that moment. Looking down at my watch while cruising along on the sidewalk I saw it only took me an hour and a half to get home. When I returned home I tried not to cry because I was so proud of myself, that I was actually able to do it without giving in. With finishing something that I had started and not giving up or making excuses. Maybe I couldn't cry because I had sweat all of the tears away. I came home and made phone calls and was hoping that people would be as excited as I was but that didn't work out the way I planned.

The thought of that is disappointing but it's OK because I did this for myself, to prove that I could do it and I did...that's all that matters in my book.

Clue #1...

So I have decided to take my hunny on a trip this coming winter for a Valentines/Christmas/some other holiday kind of present. However, I am dying to tell him where we are going. It was his suggestion that I leave him clues to try and figure out so if anyone wishes to comment on any of these blogs it would be nice if it didn't help him figure out the surprise. :)

Been A While...

Yes...I know...It's been a while but I don't think that it matters much because I don't think many people check out my page anyways. I just haven't been in the mood to be writting much so I thought that I would start now and give some updates and stuff along with some pictures...if I can figure it out.

Last time I wrote Cisco and I were leaving to go to a much needed getaway to California. It was such a nice trip. We stayed in Eagle Rock the first night and then headed over to Pasadena and stayed there the next two nights. We went to Venice Beach in the morning on I think it was Friday. I had never been there before but it was interesting to say the least.

We had so much fun. It was pretty cold out there that morning. I didn't think that it was going to be a chilly as it actually was. We walked around and had breakfast at a place that seemed ok at the time but a couple of hours later we decided that place wasn't the best choice after all. I tried to convince Cisco to get a tattoo there since there were a million places to get one but I was turned down in my offer.

From there we headed to the museum at the La Brea Tar Pits. I had been there before but I don't think that we were there that long before. There are places in that museum that I don't remember seeing before. Maybe it had just been a long time since I had been there last. It was nice. That took most of our afternoon.

I saw so many beautiful pieces of art and was amazed by so many of them. There were several things to leave that wonderment on how it was accomplished to the true talent that these artists possessed. It was cool. I wish we had something like that in Las Vegas...oh wait people are more worried about Video poker instead.

I can't really remember where we were headed when we saw this little piece of art. I think we were looking for the freeway to Venice when we passed by this guy on his morning walk. Interesting isn't it...

We did a lot of walking around in Pasadena and I even talked Cisco into taking me to City Walk at Universal well when we got there it was completely empty and when we got near the entrance to Universal Studios I talked Cisco into going. He looked at me like he wanted to slap me. MY reasoning was that since we were there we should just go for a little while and it would be fun. What he didn't know that was when he was in the bathroom at the hotel I was looking through a booklet that was in the room and I ripped out a coupon for Universal Studios. I thought that I would give it a try and it actually worked. He had to admit that he had fun when we got in there and we started walking around doing things. It was a nice day too. It got windy towards the end of the day and Jurrasic Park the Ride was shut down which sucked. That was the main reason why I wanted to go. I love that ride.

I think the only thing that is better at Universal compared to Disneyland is that they sell beer and you can drink it while you walk around and wait in lines. I don't think that they even sell beer at Disneyland...I think they used to when I was little in the places where you bought food but that was about it. The guy that was talking during the studio tour began to get on my nerves pretty quick but when he did I would just take a drink of my trusty beer. I was in trouble when I ran out though. I had wished I took a sweater though.

Well the trip came to a end and so did my fun. I was so not interested in coming home I wanted to stay another couple of days. I think that if Cisco left me there I would have been perfectly fine with that. I would have found food to eat and a place to stay. That is the easy part.

When we came home it was time for the kids to do the Valentines Day thing at school. Anthony wanted me to make cupcakes for his class so since I didn't have an oven my mom made them and I decorated them. I thought that these would be neat to post up.

We didn't go the the Valentines Day dance at the school last year and the kids begged to go this year so we went. It was fun for the kids...I guess that's the important part. As usual the girls all danced together and the boys tried their hardest to beat one another up by running around and chasing eachother. There was a little mini kid conga line goin' on for a while and that was neat.

I was surprised at how many people where there. Because it became so popular they decided that instead of holding it at the elementary school they had it in the lunch room of the high school that was near the house. That place was full and all the tables were taken. It was like eating at Mandalay Bay again in the middle of the lunch rush. You had to make friends with someone so that you could sit down and eat somewhere. The kids didn't sit down for long it was all the adults that were occupying the tables.

All in all it was a fun February. I guess it's off to see how March goes. I have been investigating a secret trip for Cisco and he doesn't know what it is at all. I think I may ask if he has a clue. I will have to give him a couple so that he can get the time off before I finalize it. But when I let the cat out of the bag to him I will release it to the public too.

I think this was a first for me but have you ever seen a purple dog?

I bet all of his little dog friends made fun of him before he left the house that day...poor thing...but I would probably do it too.:)

On The Road Again...Finally...

It has been a long while as far as I am concerned that I have gotten out of this stinky town and I am sure glad that it is going to be this weekend. Cisco and I are going on a trip to LA. It should be fun. Just the two of us with the kids safely at grandma's house for the weekend.

I am very excited. I have to get out of work for a couple of days or my head is going to explode. I think that it is nice that Cisco and I have been going out of town every year for our Valentines Day. I think I am the one that started the tradition with me taking him to Death Valley. That was a fun trip. I don't remember some of it because I was so drunk but I know that we had a lot of fun there.

I'm not quite sure as to what we are going to do while in LA, I know for sure that we are going to the La Brea Tar pits and the museum that is there, I don't know the name of it, and then going to the Beverly Center. I have always wanted to go there but never had the chance. I was always told no by Cisco whenever we went by there or we never had the chance to go there because we were leaving town. I think that this will be nice to get out of town and just chill for three days.

While My Computer Gently Weeps...

Well this poor computer has about had it...or so I would think. That is all I have been doing for the past couple weeks at work...actually working. Yes, I know it would be thought that I am supposed to be working but as usual it had been really slow up until right after New Years.

I was put in charge of helping design a condo which I thought would be fun...but I have grown tired of it already. Constantly being on the phone is not my cup of tea. Anyone who knows me also knows that is true. You will never catch me at home just sitting on the phone talking just to talk. This female feature was lost once I worked at Manadalay. Being on the phone with idiots ruined it for me. My friends aren't stupid just the idea of spending hours on the phone like I did in High School seems to be.

Olivia and I went to High School Musical the Concert and had a blast. It was quite enjoyable. I didn't think that it would be but I found myself standing up and trying to sing to some of the songs that I sort of knew. It was great fun though. I would definately do it again if I was given the chance.

Anthony and I are going to see "LOVE" but the date is TBD for now...more information on that as it comes.

Cisco and I are supposed to be going out of town next weekend on a little trip without the kids. This is something that is much needed not only for our relationship but also for me and my sanity. I have to get out of that office that I spend so much time in all alone all day long.

Well I will catch up with you all soon...

Happy Super Bowl Weekend! Go Colts!

Semester Woes...

Well I have decided to skip this semester and just chill. I think that I have burned myself out a little bit. I took some pretty full class loads last year and even this fall it was a bit of a stretch. So I think a semester off is just what I need. It's nice to just go home after work instead of going to school until 9 and then going home so that I can study some more.

I have my own little aggrivations happening at home, but I choose not to get into them right now. Olivia and I had fun last night. We went to High School Musical the Concert. I didn't think that I would like it too much but it was fun. Of course all of the singers that have a little bit of a solo career had to get in that their albums would be out soon and you could hear all the kids telling their parents that they would want it. Olivia wanted a CD of one of the girls at the concert and I told her I would rather buy it at Target give the price difference. I don't really know anyone that would be stupid enough to buy a CD at a concert unless it was one that you couldn't get anywhere else...but even then I'm sure you could find it on the internet somewhere.

Well that is all I have for right now...and C if you are reading this and it is 6:30 or 7 in the morning you should get off of the computer and wake everyone up instead so that you're not rushing everyone later, there are more productive things you can be doing with your time also...

And So It Begins...

Another semester at CCSN. It shouldn't be as demanding as the last two semesters because I could only afford to take one class. Math...I know...eww. Well that should make it nice and hard for this spring.

I am all better, no more Flu and the cough is pretty much gone. It took long enough. The curse has fallen upon me but atleast I am able to function with that going on as opposed to the flu.

There is a lot going on around here, atleast with the kids and I...Cisco on the other hand is just working and that is about it. Anthony's birthday is next week and I am taking him and a little friend of his out to dinner and then a movie tomorrow followed by a boy's sleepover. That should drain a good amount of energy from me. The next week I am taking Olivia to go and see High School Musical the Concert, so that should be fun. A bunch of screaming girls...actually it will be fun! The week after that I am taking Anthony to see "Love" for his birthday present from me. It is going to be busy and hectic with family but it's going to get real interesting with work now too. I am going to be put in charge of the design part of a remodel at the Park Towers Condo's at one of the unit's there. I have my first meeting tomorrow and I think from that point out I will find out what I am in for.

I think that it will be fun to finally be doing something different than sitting in the office all day doing billing and listening to Jerry Springer. The one good thing about getting out of the office more is that my grandmother is going to live with my mom now. She is the devil himself. I can't stand that woman. I am going to make sure that I go to the bathroom before I leave the house and take my lunch to work everyday so that I don't have to come out until it's time to go home. I'm going to start going to work around 7am instead of the 9:30-10:00 just so that I can leave at 3:00 when I pick up the kids and stay at home. I hope that it doesn't get as bad as I think it will...wish me luck!

UM...Why Me...

I feel like someone just kicked me in the head and then I was run over by a semi-truck. Yes, I think that is the best way to describe how this Flu has affected me.

I don't know who to thank for this little gift that I have been given. Anthony? Olivia? Someone that I don't know? Who knows? All I do know is that I am ready to stop feeling this way and to actually get some real sleep now. I haven't slept because I can't stop coughing, I have a constant headache from my sinuses and from the coughing also and from not sleeping.

I can't remember the last time I had the flu, it has been years maybe even a decade, the fact that I don't remember means that it's been a long time.

Everyone has received this little post holiday gift, Anthony, my mom, Rick and even people that aren't even living with us in our family. I have decided that next year I am going to get a flu shot. I don't know if it will work or if it makes a tremendous difference, but it's worth a try.
